It was an exciting day yesterday for Ffrwd Ganol Alpacas - a visit to the North Somerset Show! We am very proud of our baby boys, Jet Stream and Juggernaut, showing off their 3rd and 6th place rosettes 🏵️

Introducing 3 new fluffy faces! Jet Stream, Juggernaut and Bambi 😍

Our latest gorgeous additions are settling in well. We are looking forward to seeing how Jet Stream and his best friend Juggernaut get on in the show ring, whilst we are hoping for a beautiful baby from Bambi in a few months 😍…… and now there are 11!!

We are lucky to be able to witness the Starling Cloud in Aberystwyth at the Pier.
Starling murmurations are a spectacular sight, something you have to see to believe. It is one of nature’s most magnificent shows, waves of birds swirling in the sky as if they are thinking with one mind.

Starling murmuration is the gathering of tens of thousands of European starlings, where they take to the sky, performing their dazzling aerial displays. They all move together as one entity, creating lines and shapes as they blacken the sky. These breathtaking shows can last anywhere from a few minutes to close to an hour before ending suddenly as they nestle into their roosting sites below the pier

We have been lucky enough to witness this on several occasions and guests are currently being treated to some spectacular shows.

It truly is a sight to behold and the perfect time of year to see them. We still have some great deals and cottage availability in March to enjoy this spectacular sight so send us a message
