We've had some crazy high tides these past few days. Even Barmouth beach (& promenade 😲) disappeared! 🌊

A couple of teenagers likened the small bedroom in Y Llaethdy to a prison cell this summer 😳
I can kind of empathise, there aren't any bars but it was a small, dark room SO, a new floor & a bit of furniture rearrangement when we finally had an empty mid-week, & 🧙‍♂️🪄 it's suddenly twice the size ( or at least feels it, unfortunately I can't move the walls).
Now I just need to make some cheerful matching curtains...

I booked Pentre Bach in December for a get away with friends to celebrate my fiance's 30th birthday, and I cannot begin to describe how perfect it was! The house is well appointed and beautiful, with more than enough space and seating for a larger group than us, as well as lovely thoughtful touches....

Today has been a double beach day in the sun at Pentre Bach. This morning, a bit of lizard spotting on the rocks & a solstice dip with the boys, then a nice long walk this evening.

We are set on the coast of southern Snowdonia in Llwyngwril “The Knitted Village” with 2 cottages:
Y Popty -sleeps 6 in 3 bedrooms king/double/bunks
Y Llaethdy -sleeps 4 in 2 bedrooms king/bunks
& 2 pop-up bell tents available for 1 week lets July-August
