Want a cheeky couple of nights away? Our gorgeous cottage Llonydd has availability this weekend, Saturday 22nd and Sunday 23rd for £300. Sleeping 4 in a double and two singles, you can come just to gaze at the sea and listen to.....well the sea... and the birds.... and well not much else really. It is, honestly, that peaceful! https://www.rolacottages.co.uk/
If you like steam trains, Tallylyn's 'Awdry Extravangas' below might appeal, it traces the history of the Thomas the Tank Engine creator. Regular train journeys on its line, https://www.talyllyn.co.uk/ are also available.
An alternative is the Cambrian Coast railway, accessed (with free parking) in Llwyngwril village. This sleepy little two carriage train will take you north along the coast to Barmouth, Harlech, Criccieth or Pwllheli or south to Aberystwth (below) where you can jump off, explore and jump back on again at your leisure.
