Watched a Christmas film too many? Or are the leftovers not sitting so well? We think it's time for a post-festive stroll to go out and get some fresh air! 🫣
Here are some of our favourites near Llwyngwril! 🤗

A pebbled beach just a 15 minute walk from Ty Gwyn. As the tide goes out it reveals a large number of rock pools. On the right conditions the beach can produce some good waves, making it popular for surfing, although a number of boulders in the water can pose a risk so surfing here it is best left to experienced surfers!

One of the best walks in Wales, in our opinion, and better than Yr Wyddfa. It can be challenging at points, so if you ever plan to walk in the Winter, ensure you are aware of the weather and stay safe.

A walk just 5 minutes from Ty Gwyn! You can park up at Morfa Mawddach train station and walk across the railway bridge to Barmouth. Or you can catch the train from Llwyngwil to Barmouth and walk from there!

The Precipice has a fantastic array of qualities. The path will take you through part of the Nannau estate which dates back to the 12th century and is steeped in fascinating Welsh history. The route ends on the shores of Llyn Cynwch—a working reservoir that provides nearby Dolgellau with water. Although the path stands at 800ft above sea level, there is little climbing and descending along the route.
