I stiched together a video of the aurora on the 26th Feb, but Facebook keeps failing to let me upload it! It's about 500 images together with a few changes of settings to keep the structure intact. A little video I stitched together from about 500 photos of the aurora on 26th Feb in Movern. Privilege to watch this incredible display with Scotland with The Wee White Dug . video 1 of 2!

I changed settings quite a bit (as you'll see) to maintain the structure of the aurora and sadly was tempted to move around towards the end of the video as different parts of the sky lit up

Built in the 13th century by the MacDonald Lordship of the Isles, Ardtornish Castle once stood guard over the Sound of Mull and the entrance to Loch Aline. Today there is a lovely walk to the ruins with beautiful views across the sea to the Isle of Mull.

A recent otter day. Watched a family fishing in a hole for about an hour until this dog came over and butted in. I think he told me off eventually for taking photos

Otter tucking into a nice tasy fish. Morvern is an amazing place to photograph otters and I am lucky to be able to find them pretty much any day

Welcome to Sound of Mull photography. I have taught photography for 15 years and have moved to my heart land recently to be able to share it with people. I specialise in wildlife photography workshops, but just as happy with landscapes. Have you recently got a big camera and you want to get out of auto mode. I can teach you how to take beautiful photos and then use the best post processing tools as an Adobe certified educator. I have laptops and spare cameras if you can't bring them. My workshops are always based on the guests, so if you want to photo otters, we head for otters. If you want eagles, we will focus on that.
