Another wonderful trip out to add to your list is a walk up the Hidden Valley in Glencoe. About an 1.30 hrs scenic drive to the car park from Ederline. The entrance is up a steep gorge which opens up into an amazing flat bottomed valley. You can continue to climb to the end and claim one of the Munros of the Three Sisters. Well worth the view! Feeling a bit stiff this morning!

Six flying around Loch Ederline this afternoon making load chirping calls…..Ospreys! Preparing for their return migration after raising their young on Loch Awe. Females leave first at the end of August followed by males and then the young. After crossing the English Channel, they travel down through France and Spain into North Africa. Some then cross the Sahara Desert directly, while others follow the West African coastline. We are very honoured that they come all the way back to Argyll to breed again next spring, stunning birds.

Perfect weather for a trip on Venture West. Highly recommend!!
