As the world of evolves, are increasingly seeking ways to connect with and cultivate bases, especially among savvy aficionados within the fragrance .

For British niche brand Electimuss London, known for its opulent scents and storytelling inspired by Ancient Rome, are proving to be a powerful way to bridge fragrance and engage both the press and consumers.

In June 2024, for the launch of Spice D'Arno, the brand’s first composition by IFF perfumer Celine Barel (who spoke to us about the role of cistus in the fragrance – read more here: https://buff.ly/4ex7VPB ), Electimuss introduced an exciting collaboration with Fragrance Historian and Tour Guide Olga Petrouchenko, the founder of Perfume Walks London. This in-person event combined fragrance education and brand discovery, highlighting London’s Roman roots and the rich stories behind the brand’s fragrances.

Now, with the recent announcement of upcoming public perfume walks in partnership with Electimuss, we take a closer look at how Sue Busto, Global Brand Manager, and her team have fostered an innovative approach to connecting with long-term fragrance enthusiasts. Collaborating with fragrance experts like Olga, Electimuss is one of the pioneering fragrance brands leading new and luxurious ways of storytelling and community engagement.

"Professionals call it , and it has been very popular lately, with brands organising their launches in dungeons. For example, Renaud Salmon from Amouage brought frankincense candies to the presentation of their new fragrance in Harrods. With Electimuss London, we found ourselves in a fortunate situation: their fragrances are inspired by Roman history and culture, and the beginnings of London in Roman Londinium. It was a perfect match! During the walk, we not only shared exciting stories about places that one can pass every day, unaware of the treasures hidden beneath their feet, but we also had the opportunity to smell and reflect on the fragrances from the Electimuss collection. Our collaboration confirmed once again that perfumes are not merely fragrances; they are the stories behind them," shares Olga.

The Golden Amber fragrance has been recently launched at Floris London. I'm sharing some photos from a special event that has taken place in the historical boutique. It has been here for the last 294 years and the business is still run by the same family.

The perfumer Nicola Pozzani .perfumer did a brilliant job and managed to express in a scent the golden hour on lake Garda and to capture it in a bottle. Bravo!

The event was also an opportunity to meet old and new friends!
