Hello and welcome, My name is John and I am a 26 Year old Travel & Fitness addict!

At the age of 18 I brought a one way ticket to Australia and my travel addiction started! I travelled, worked and lived in Australia for two years and had the best time of my life.

Ever since then I have managed to travel as much as possible to places such as Thailand 3 times, Greece, poland and Iceland to name a few.

I will be going on a one way adventure again at the end of 2023 back to South East Asia to do it all!

"Great idea to start a travel marketplace but what does Perito even mean?"
Did you know we're named after a (debated) eighth wonder of the world, an animal, and a translation?
Firstly Perito was born after visiting the Perito Moreno Glacier in Patagonia. You'll definitely want to click play below, and see why it felt fitting to name our brand after something so magnificent and unique!
Secondly it translates to proficient in Spanish, something we know all our planners will be, and lastly we learnt this week in our Perito focus group, that it can mean little dog 🐶 and who doesn't love puppies?!
