Feeling all the christmas feels right now after spending a couple of days in Lake Geneva checking out their christmas market @noel_au_quai . At the Christmas market in Geneva, you can find a variety of handcrafted gifts and traditional treats, as well as enjoy live music and other entertainment. One of the highlights of the market is the variety of traditional Swiss food and drinks available. It gives the market a distinctly Swiss vibe! There's something for everyone to enjoy, from the mini fairground rides for the little ones to the traditional Christmas pub and the log cabin where we enjoyed the most delicious cheese fondue which I must say was the highlight of the weekend for me! What a privilege to be invited onto P&O's cruise ship Iona! One of their newest and most innovative ships, Iona has been designed to invite the outdoors indoors! The ship is absolutely beautiful. At the heart of Iona's deck plan is the Grand Atrium, with walls of glass on both sides over three floors, it fills the space with light and sea views. The SkyDome is another highlight for me. It's an enormous glass dome covers a double-height space towards the top decks, which serves as a pool, drinking and dining venue by day and an entertainment space in the evenings. Other features on board Iona include a boutique, four-screen cinema, an intimate nightclub masterminded by ex-Take That frontman Gary Barlow and the first gin distillery at sea. The ship has been so well thought out. Instead of one big pool and the overcrowding that can bring, there are two infinity pools, the indoor SkyDome pool and the smallish Beachcomber pool, which spreads out all the passengers! With 33 dining and bars, 6 theatre and lounges, 5 pools, amazing spa and wellness facilities and even a sports arena, you will certainly never get bored on board Iona!
