The ideal candidate would require the following experience and skills:

-2-5 years experience working as a Hotel Contracts Manager in Europe, or a similar role in the travel industry, is a must.
-Knowledge of static and dynamic rate models is essential.
-Superb interpersonal, communications and influencing skills.
-Strong business analysis and negotiations skills.
-Proactive, self-motivated and results driven.
-Ability to develop close working relationships with suppliers.
-Ability to think on his/her feet, multi-task and prioritise own workload.
-Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
-Fluency in English. German would be an advantage.
-This position requires a valid driving licence.

Holiday cover to other sections within London Branch
Invoice validation from the suppliers
Dealing with phone calls from tour escorts and passengers
Joining emergency call ROTA in the team
VIP attend (greeting VIPs or accompany groups when requested from Japan & Asia market)
Purchasing business trips (meeting with suppliers in the UK and Eire)

Person description
Fluent written & verbal communication in English is essential.
Any additional language, such as Japanese, Mandarin, Cantonese, are preferable.
Ability to work on own & as part of a team.
Strong communication skills
Those who have interests in food and restaurants
Good organizational skills, adaptability to changes in work levels, time
management & ability to work well under pressure.

Working style
During training working from office everyday, after the training period Hybrid
(1 day at office, 4 days from home - subject to change)

Tomomi Echigo-Smith and Guy Wiggin were at the in Belfast. The Meet The Buyer was held at the ICC venue in the heart of Belfast along the stunning waterfront.

Guy, MTE Hotel contract manager in Ireland, reported: "It’s been a day of reconnecting with existing Group & FIT partners in Northern Ireland, meeting potential new ones and discussing 2022/23 opportunities."
Tomomi, MTE operation and contract manager for the UK and Ireland land services, added: "it is great to reconnect with many partners, those who provide very authentic and unique experiences, feeling the Irish hospitality".

Looks like they both had a good time and a busy networking experience.

Another productive week at MTE, a new trip for our Hotel Contract team.

This week MTE Hotel Area Manager Sophie Cortez and Senior Contract manager Jeremie Casal took part in one of the best French trade shows. Rendez-vous en France 2022 took place in Nantes after a break of 2 years. This was a great opportunity for Sophie and Jeremie to catch up with our valuable French partners. Despite the fragile situation in Europe, the general vibe was very happy and productive!
