It was such a treat on my last guided walk to bump into some of our amazing Chelsea Pensioners, who are all retired soldiers of the British Army.
Since 1692 the Chelsea Pensioners have lived at the Royal Hospital in Chelsea, which was built by Sir Christopher Wren. The Royal Hospital offers care and comradeship for veterans in recognition of their loyal service to the Nation.
