Our recently renovated North London home is less than 10 minutes' walk from Seven Sisters tube station - from there only 10 mins tube to Kings
Cross, 15 to Oxford St and easy access to airports. The three-storey house and garden is on a residential side street in a vibrant, urban location surrounded by friendly neighbours, with local shop, cafes, parks and bars a few minutes' walk. With room for up to seven people, quality beds and stylish interiors makes this the ideal family home to relax in after a day sightseeing or exploring London - or to stay in temporarily, if for example your own home is being renovated. With me and my partner having lived in North London all our lives, including in this family home where we’ve brought up our children and love dearly, between us we know all the best things to see and do around these parts. We will be on hand to share our insider knowledge with you and for anything else you require so you can make the most of your trip to this brilliant part of the capital. *NEIGHBOURHOOD
While South Tottenham/Seven Sisters is vibrant and busy, our home is in a quiet side street with loads of friendly neighbours. The area has great transport links for quick access to London’s main train stations (particularly Kings Cross and Euston) and airports, and tourist attractions or live events. Tottenham Hotspur’s White Hart Lane Stadium and Arsenal’s Emirates Stadium can both be reached by foot, bus or train where you can take in a match or just visit the impressive ground. There are several great parks nearby, with amenities such as free tennis courts and cafes. Our nearest corner shop is 30 seconds’ walk, with larger supermarkets a little further away by foot. There are countless nearby restaurants, cafes, pubs and shops, and our welcome pack will give you some great tips on where to go and what to do locally. *GETTING AROUND
One of the area’s biggest attractions is its incredible transport connections:
-Less than 10 mins walk to Victoria Line tube or Seven Sisters overground;
-Oxford Street can be reached in about 25 mins, Kings Cross/Euston in 20 mins, Stansted Airport in an hour, Heathrow Airport and Gatwick Airport in 90 mins;
-Tottenham Hotspur’s White Hart Lane Stadium and Arsenal’s Emirates Stadium both within 20 mins bus ride;
-Close to Finsbury Park and easy access to Alexandra Palace for live music events and festivals;
-Two mins to closest bus stop, with several different bus lines in easy reach;
-We live in Zone 3, but just on the border of Zone 2.
-If driving, we are able to provide paid-for parking permits - please message us to discuss. Alternatively, there is sometimes free parking on nearby St Ann’s Road. There is also a local paid for car park on Westerfield Road, Tottenham, N15 5LD.
-Be aware, there is a low emissions zone (ULEZ) in London. If your car doesn’t meet the ULEZ emissions standards, you will have to pay a daily charge to drive in London. You will also need to pay the Congestion Zone charge if you drive into central London. You can find out more, check to see whether your car meets ULEZ standards, and pay both congestion and ULEZ charges on the Transport for London website.
*OTHER INFO
1) As this is a friendly neighbourhood with lovely neighbours, and we’d like to stay in their good books, we must insist you do not have any parties, play loud music, or use the garden after 10pm. We are in close contact with our next-door neighbours, and they will let us know if this happens.
2) Anybody not listed as staying is not permitted unless you get explicit advance permission from us.
3) Please close and lock all windows and doors when you leave.
4) Please put your waste in the black bin, and recycling in the green bins, which are outside the front of the house.
