What a lovely day I've had. First, Secrets & Symbols walk with a grandson of a founder from Whitechapel Bell Foundry, who recast Bow Bells in 1950s. Then, a visit to a tranquil St. Mary Woolnoth, where an artist was meditating while have in a break from painting and a group of young people discussing anti-slavery movement. And then, just saying hello to my favourite City Dragons and taking in my favourite view in the City

This I think of the amazing job Samaritans have been doing for 81 years.
It all started on 2nd November in 1953 in with picking up a phone by a "man willing to listen." The man was Chad Varah and the place was St. Stephen Walbrook, one of .
You can still see the phone there.
And Samaritans are still there to listen.
