The Moffat loop route

Part 1 is to the BP petrol station half way round. The checkpoints are lay-bys and places you can pull over, please only pull over if it is safe to do so! We'll be videoing in the EP3, but we also encourage you to get some videos and pictures yourself as cars pass 👍

Cars, Camera, Action! 🏎️📽️🎬

Meet location - Moffat Woolen Mill, DG10 9DT. We will be parked by the coach bays or at the back end of the car park.

Meet time - 13:30, we aim to depart on the route between 14:00-14:30.

Route duration & milage - 3 hours/75 miles.

On arrival look out for the black ep3 Civic Type-R & black e46 M3 these are the Just Drive cars (pictured).

We'll give a run through of how the day will work at the meet location, this is a new kind of drive for us focusing more on content and capturing the day/drive. We look forward to seeing you and your car on the drive and getting some shots of it!

Cars, Camera, Action! 🏎️📽️🎬

Join us on the Moffat loop next Saturday 17/08 for an afternoon capturing some pictures & videos of you and your car B-Road bashing with a group of like-minded petrolheads!

This event is a first for us, with the main focus being to get some awesome shots of the groups cars in action.

We've planned lots of checkpoints into the route, this will allow the Just Drive team to video you passing, get rolling shots, chase scenes and overtakes! You will also be able to help out and get shots when we and other members pass you.

Meet location - Moffat Woolen Mill, DG10 9DT. We will be parked by the coach bays or at the back end of the car park.

Meet time - 13:30, we aim to depart on the route between 14:00-14:30.

This drive will likely be a much slower pace than our usual, this will be due to the frequent stops at checkpoint for filming. As always this is not a race, rally or timed event, participants are expected to follow the rules of the road (including speed limits) we are not responsible for your driving. If we feel you are driving in a dangerous manner you will be asked to leave the event.

Is there anyone local to Moffat who can suggest any parking areas suitable for a meet? It doesn't have to be directly in Moffat.

We do have somewhere planned, just concerned it may not be big enough/too busy.

We've been down at Peoples BYD to check out the YangWing U8 & U9.

Both cars surprised us to be honest, they aren't what you'd expect from a Chinese manufacturer, just look back at the sort of stuff they were producing 10-15 years ago.

What do you think of the YangWings?

2016 - The 1st trip down to Monaco for the GP and what a place it was to be!

It started off eventful, we broke down a few miles away from Dover had to spend the morning getting the car fixed, caught a much later ferry in the afternoon.

Then we had to not drive through France because of fuel strikes to reach our destination Geneva, meaning a short detour through Belgium, Luxembourg and Germany.

I remember following a local at about 1:30am during a thunderstorm and I was locked onto their rear lights following them down a country road thinking "if I lose them I've had it" 😂 you literally couldn't see a thing.

At the time this all wasn't very funny, but looking back it's one of the more memorable trips to date.

September 2025 marks 10 years since our 1st roadtrip over to Europe!

We've had some incredible trips in that time, we've visited most of Central Europe from Spain to Croatia and everywhere in-between.

Monaco for the F1 was always a highlight, but we've enjoyed some surprising places and things like the tomato festival in Valencia and lots of little hidden gems we have stumbled upon.

The trips have always been made better by the amazing groups of people & cars we've had join as well.

I think we need to do a little something to mark the occasion 🤔
