🩵 BRING also water shoes if you have sensitive feet but DO NOT bring flip flops as they can be easily lost during rides, you also have to walk up to most rides and cannot leave them at the top.
🩵You can get waterproof pouches for your phone but most rides are pretty intense, so I would recommend leaving your phone in the locker.

It's best to reserve about 3 hours for the Palace and 2-3 hours for the Gardens.
This year we just went to see the Gardens as there were no tickets for the Palace as they already sold out at 11:00 o'clock so best to be booked in advance!!
To see the Gardens you can walk around them or hire an electric cart for 38 Euro for an hour, 9,5 every additional 15 minutes. The driver's age min.24 and needs a driving licence!! We could not hire it as we did not have the driving licence with us!!
The Gardens are quite big with some mazes and hidden fountains which makes the walk very pleasant. During fountains displays days you can listen to the classical music which makes the walk truly memorable.
