There is of course a window of opportunity for skiing. Most think that’s between now and February, worrying about the lack of snow come Easter. Over the years though, Emma and I have found those fears are largely misplaced. ‌ Snow-sure spots in spring span the continents from the higher resorts of Europe – Courmayeur in Italy, Ischgl in Austria, Murren in Switzerland – to Canada’s powder Whistler pistes and snowboarding favourite Niseko in Japan coated with flakes well into spring. ‌ If you’re yet to plan this season’s ski break or have your sights on another, these are just a few of our favourite resorts found higher – or more northerly – than Europe’s February half-term heavyweights.
