PYRENEES TOUR

Join us for a celebration of some of the finest roads that the Pyrenees and Northern Spain have to offer.

The 6 day tour begins in Saint-Jean-De-Luz in the Basque Country, from here we pass through France, Andorra and Spain using roads selected for their challenging hairpins, flowing corners and general beauty.

Pillions will have the chance to enjoy some spa time and to visit the beautiful, historic city of Pamplona whilst riders do some optional gravel road/ offroad riding in the Bardenas Reales desert and the surrounding areas.

A support vehicle will be provided throughout the tour.

Peak season atmosphere in the evenings but avoiding the traffic during the days!!

£1800 per person based on 2 people per motorbike.
£400 supplement for solo riders

Had an amazing time at the ABR Festival. We got to meet loads of great people including some you may recognise. As an airline pilot I got to meet a fair few celebrities but never felt as "starstruck" as when I met some of my favourite motorcycle personalities. The first one I met was Ryan F9, it felt too awkward to even ask for a picture LOL. All of them were really nice, genuine people.

4) A local expert on the team.

Having a local team member is, at worst, convenient and at best, potentially a lifesaver.

Reading menu's and translating is great but if things take a turn for the worse it is invaluable to have somebody on hand able to effectively communicate with local authorities and services.

Local knowledge is always helpful whether it be for roads, re routes, shortcuts, great restaurants or just for information on the area.

3) First Aid
Nobody wants to think about this but we have it covered.

Most injuries on the tracks are bumps and bruises. We are trained to deal with these, of course, but also more critical situations. We also carry satellite communications and can co-ordinate with local emergency services.

The main thing is never travel alone. If you go with friends, great. Do not forget to coordinate with each other to ensure that you have a good plan in place for if things go wrong as well as a first aid kit appropriate for the activity and locations that you will travel through. See less

2) Support vehicle, This will help keep your weight down as you can put your luggage in the vehicle. A lighter load reduces fatigue and increases control.

The support vehicle will also carry more tools than we are able to on bikes alone, allowing us to keep you running wherever possible so you don't have to call a tow truck, unlike me on a recent ACT Pyrenees trip. I was checking out the trail prior to a tour so had no support to call on other than the tools that myself and my travelling companion had. This particular trip ended on day one.

It also carries backup first aid equipment, food, water, tents and anything else required to make the trip safe and comfortable.

Final day. Began with a quadruple espresso, which may have been a little too much!!! Amazing back roads and green lanes followed by a last chance for some cheap fuel before the tunnel back to France. Popped out into a beautiful, snowy landscape then a steady ride home to wash the salt off the bike. Just under 1000km with some challenging (for me) offroad riding, beautiful trails and some of the best twisties I have ever ridden. Bliss.
