WHATEVER HAPPENED TO THE LIKELY LADS?
They went skiing for a week to the French Alps!

Mark, Jake and Neil flew to the alps today for one of their annual ski trips. After a year of ankle injuries, family issues and long work hours it’s great to see them unwind and enjoying some refreshing beverages to stave off dehydration!!

These three actually start the holiday the night before at the airport hotel and with parking. Cocktails at the Trafford Centre yesterday, so it’s good to see they made the early flight in time, no delays and clear blue skies and excellent pistes to greet them on arrival.

Ski’s collected, lift passes ready and apres ski venues sussed out….now they are all set. Have a great week gents….

ELVIS PRESLEY & THE DEEP SOUTH!
The legendary 'King of Rock 'n' Roll' would have been 90 today! As an Elvis historian, I've led many many tours to Nashville, Memphis and the Deep South. I'm also a huge appreciator of his music and mark in history. I always think in fondness today. A link to my favourite Elvis song is in the comments...'If I can dream'.

John Lennon said 'before Elvis. there was nothing!' But Elvis left not only his mark on music, but civil rights history with mixed race audiences and fans, mixed race backing singers as well as numerous philanthropic endeavours that Graceland still supports to this day across his home town of Memphis.

I create bespoke fly-drive tours across the Deep South where you can experience this for yourself. In Memphis of course I include Graceland, Sun Studio and sights such as his former homes, hang outs and schools, but also Tupelo Mississippi, his birthplace, Nashville and RCA Studio B where he recorded all but six of his recordings.

This is the point where I am supposed to give words of wisdom and all this 'new year, new you' talk, blah blah blah! Social media is currently flooded with these...like the Oprah Winfrey Show on steroids!

Well since leaving a well paid job to start my own business two years ago, and face it's challenges, I realise that nothing comes to us easily. When we take the knocks we have to pick ourselves up and people only humour you for so long. You have to get out there grab your spear and hunt for what you want. I've learnt the hard way.
