Not the miles, but the memories. That’s what it’s all about. The laugh until you cry moments. The “did we just become best friends” with previous strangers. Breaking out of your comfort zone or facing your fears. Sitting and watching the bow breaking the waves or taking the helm. Shouting out ABBA lyrics for the 50th time and it doesn’t get old. Wine o’ clock clinks and Aperol afternoons. Hikes the leave you endlessly in awe. Winning the paddleboard race or nailing the SUP board run. RAFTERNOONS! Sailing on a subtle breeze or bouncing through some unexpected weather. Embracing the unknown. The 100 delicious gyros consumed or 426 necessary gelatos. The late night swims. Silent sunrises or circadian resetting sunsets. Castle cocktails or disco bars until dawn. Meeting people that you’ll remember forever, and making memories you’ll never forget. That’s what it’s about, this. All of the above and more with amazing people from all over the world coming together to create a sphere of utter immeasurable bliss, and taking pieces of happiness back with them. 🇬🇷 💙 We just can’t get enough of Greece’s natural and historic awesomeness.

⛵️We’ve still got a few weeks left sailing around some of our favourite areas of the Mediterranean! Whether it’s around the Saronic islands near Athens dotted with history on every hillside, or the Ionian near Corfu with their dramatic chalk-white cliffs.

🤩 While these two areas can feel different, one thing is consistent — the Greek island vibes will leave you wanting to come back and that neon blue water will leave you picking up your jaw constantly.

Who’s got Greece on their mind? Not too late to squeak into some of the last spaces for a final Greek adventure!

Yes, a sailing trip has HEAPS of hiking opportunities too 😉 Just because we are travelling by sea doesn’t mean we don’t get active on land as well. Here are our top favourite Mediterranean hikes and walks in Croatia and Greece that you can hit on a MedSailors holiday:

- Saklikent Gorge, Turkey
- Parga Fortress Hike, Greece Ionian
- Hvar Fortress, Croatia
- Tripitos Arch, Greece Ionian
- Temple of Aphaia, Greece Saronic
- Mljet National Park, Croatia

🥾 Don’t sweat it, whether you’re outdoors obsessed or not, these hikes and walks are easy enough for all. Some of these highlights will take you up through ancient ruins for stellar views you can cap off with a cold drink, or others that take you to a remote viewpoint well worth the effort. Either way, they are a must-do activity in Europe if you ask us.
