🇱🇨✨ Olympic Gold Medallist and proud Saint Lucian, Julien Alfred is in London! 🇬🇧🎉 She’s here in her new role as Tourism Ambassador for Saint Lucia.

Here she is exploring some of London's iconic landmarks like Buckingham Palace, St Paul’s Cathedral, and the The Official London Eye. 🌴✨

And she’s not alone! Joining Julien is fellow athlete Imani-Lara Lansiquot, Team GB sprinter and Olympics Silver Medallist. 🥈 🎉

Located at the top of Reduit Beach, the restaurant's namesake, Marie, and her husband have been cooking here for 44 years. The fish comes in fresh every morning, and as she says: 'If there’s no fresh fish, I don't open.' 😉 🇱🇨

In a momentous ceremony on Thursday, The Saint Lucia Tourism Authority proudly announced ‘The Fastest Woman in the World’,Julien Alfred as an official Tourism Ambassador for the destination. This landmark partnership seeks to elevate the island’s profile as a premier global travel destination. Distinguished guests gathered to honour Julien, whose remarkable achievements have not only brought pride to Saint Lucia but have also inspired countless individuals worldwide. As the recent gold medalist in the Women’s 100 meters and silver medalist in the 200 meters at the Paris Olympics, Julien’s talent and determination exemplify the spirit of excellence that defines our nation. Most recently, she reinforced her title of the World’s Fastest Woman at the Brussels Diamond League Athletics. As Tourism Ambassador, Julien will participate in promotional events for Saint Lucia in key markets globally, alongside conducting media engagements, and advertising initiatives to promote the island and its marketing campaigns. Additionally, Julien will engage in social media campaigns to highlight tourism in Saint Lucia. A key feature of this collaboration is the co-branding of the prominent Saint Lucia logo on Julien’s PUMA competition and warm-up kits.
