Victor Surpasses 400 private jet charter bookings with Sustainable Aviation Fuel ♻️✈️

Since June 2022, our innovative ‘Pay Here, Use There’ model has allowed our clients to make a SAF purchase that can reduce their carbon emissions by up to 80% on any flight they book with us worldwide. 1 in 5 Victor clients are voluntarily purchasing on average £964 of Sustainable Aviation Fuel per booking, resulting in an average carbon emission reduction of 1.47 tonnes.
 
All of the SAF that is purchased by our clients is produced in Neste’s refinery where it is then delivered to Helsinki airport to be used on a commercial flight. The emission reduction is not only in-sector, meaning the emission reduction is staying in aviation, but it is also ‘immediate’ with a clear chain of custody.

On surpassing 400 private jet charter bookings with SAF, Toby Edwards, Victor co-CEO said…

"I would like to thank our pioneering clients once again for their continued trust in our climate action initiatives. To date, they have collectively spent £387,336 on Sustainable Aviation Fuel. We are pleased to announce that Victor has been successfully acquired by an Abu Dhabi-based aviation investment group.

This strategic acquisition is the natural next step in Victor’s journey to becoming the number one on-demand charter broker in the world.

The new ownership follows a three-year growth plan set in motion by co-CEO’s Toby Edwards and James Farley in 2020, which has earned Victor its place as one of the fastest-growing companies within Business Aviation and a market leader in its approach to sustainability.

While we are not yet ready to unveil our detailed growth plans, we are confident that upgrades to our services will only enhance our customers' experience with us.

We anticipate bringing in new talent with deep local knowledge as we expand into new markets, fostering stronger relationships with key regional operators to uphold the seamless service that defines Victor.

On behalf of the entire Victor team, we would like to express a huge thank you to our previous shareholders, especially Clive Jackson, who founded the business 13 years ago.

Just last December, Lapland broke all the records, setting a new one-month high for overnight stays by foreign tourists.

To put it in perspective, they exceeded the previous December 2019 record by a huge eight per cent with almost 730,000 visitors choosing to spend at least one night in Santa's home town.

You would be forgiven for wondering why it is that so many people visit a region where the temperatures can plummet to -30 degrees and where the reindeer outnumber people almost three to one.

Despite the promise of a white Christmas and the opportunity to meet Santa Claus, the other factor influencing the rising demand for Lapland, is the allure of visiting a remote winter wonderland destination where luxury resorts are providing the ultimate cosy family retreats.
