Forest Book Group We're a friendly and informal book group - we meet once a month and read all genres of book We're a friendly and informal book group. You name it.

Forest Book Group, meet 3rd Wednesday each month, 7.30pm at The Peking Chef 178 Hoe Street, Walthamstow E17. The group is open to everyone - if you enjoy reading and talking about books then come along. Even though we meet in a local restaurant there's absolutely no obligation to eat or drink - although many of us do as we have our favourite dishes! The group members are all involved in selecting

books to read and we read books of all genres - from literary fiction to sci-fi, short stories to travel journals. For more information contact Penny Rutterford email [email protected]

Our book choice this month is "The Bean Trees" by Barbara Kingsolver. Hopefully our next meeting will be a sunny warm day and we can enjoy an al fresco meeting. If the weather is fair we'll meet in Lloyd Park just behind the William Morris Gallery at 7.30pm on Wednesday 19th June. Bring your own refreshments. There's a reasonably good chippy just across the road from the gallery too. If the weather doesn't look like it will be in our favour we will abandon the park probably back to Peking Chef. I will confirm our planned location the day before based on the weather forecast. So check this page.
