Karine Kaelin Interior Design

Karine Kaelin Interior Design I'm a freelance Interior Designer based in South East London. Checkout my website: https://www.karin Now I am freelance, and available. What`s my style?

I am a Swiss national with a background in high-end property management and extensive experience organising and overseeing refurbishments and renovations. In 2015, I realised my dream and graduated as an interior designer from KLC, London. I have worked for interior design companies for over a year on residential projects for private clients, developers and agencies. I can help you transform every

day accommodation into your longed-for home. Hard to say. In to-the-point Geneva it was all industrial masculine raw wood and metal, but in the exciting madness of London, it’s more diverse, mixing modes and materials for drama and, yes, magic. My home here is becoming a sanctuary against the tumult, pollution and train strikes of the metropolis. How did I design my haven? Rich dark hues as a background for intimate drama, and a mix of warm coloured soft furnishings for cosiness and reassurance. I can assure you, a beige background wouldn’t have the same effect! What do you need? What’s your style? Let me help you uncover it. Whether you live in a chateau, a chalet or a shed, there’s no limit to the range of possibilities. Give me your ideas and I will mould them into plans and options, and then bring them to life, transforming space into living rooms. Banish beige and give yourself a home to be happy in.

Love receiving pictures of projects after transformation. This dreamy nursery room was design for a super cute baby girl. We created a neutral & cosy bedroom mixing vintage furniture own by the family and modern new furniture for modular storage. Such a cute atmosphere.

Sneak peek of this beautiful project in the Netherlands. I love how paint can completely transform a space. Look at these stairs now! Green Blue on the stairs and Blue Grey on the banisters to add depth and character. And you can see before when everything was white. What a change, so pleased. And thanks to my lovely client for the pictures. 🇳🇱

Our Story

I am a Swiss national with a background in high-end property management and extensive experience organising and overseeing refurbishments and renovations.

In 2015, I realised my dream and graduated as an interior designer from KLC, London. After having worked few years for interior design companies I decided to set up as a freelancer to give me a wider palette of work options. I work now on my own projects as well as freelance contracts with well known interior designers in London.

What`s my style? Hard to say. In to-the-point Geneva it was all industrial masculine raw wood and metal, but in the exciting madness of London, it’s more diverse, mixing modes and materials for drama and, yes, magic. My home here is becoming a sanctuary against the tumult, pollution and train strikes of the metropolis.

How did I design my haven? Rich dark hues as a background for intimate drama, and a mix of warm coloured soft furnishings for cosiness and comfort. I can assure you, a beige background wouldn’t have the same effect!
