Trafalgar Square, the central point of London, will today host the capital’s St Patrick’s Day festival!

The annual celebrations of Ireland will parade today at 12:00 from Hyde Park Corner all the way down to Trafalgar Square - The festivities will include Dance Troupes, Marching Bands, Music, Food, Drink, Culture, lots of fun and much more!

September is Blood Cancer Awareness Month and we are supporting Leukaemia Care by trying to raise awareness of how to spot the early signs and symptoms of leukaemia.

Leukaemia Care currently supports people within your local community who have been diagnosed with leukaemia, through work at University College London Hospital, but they need your help to do more!

Anyone of any age, gender or race can be diagnosed with leukaemia and it has one of the highest rates of emergency diagnosis with 37% of cases being diagnosed in an emergency setting. This means that patients are being diagnosed when it’s too late and they are often too unwell to cope with the treatments for leukaemia, which are known to have a harsh effect on the body. This is compared with just 3% in breast cancer and 7% in prostate cancer.

Imagine the impact it would have if everyone knew the early symptoms to look out for. Spotting leukaemia at an early stage would then mean that we could help more people to get an earlier diagnosis, giving them a better chance of survival. This could save the life of one of your employees or their loved ones.
