Title: A Mixed Bag: My Honest Review of the Character Breakfast at Disneyland Paris During our stay at Disneyland Paris we had pre-booked the Character Breakfast at Plaza Gardens. I feel compelled to share my candid thoughts on the experience. Despite a pre-booked reservation for 9:45 am, my family and I found ourselves not being seated until gone 10 am, bearing in mind they do ask you to arrive early to be seated which didn't happen, with the bustling crowd adding to the delay. Once settled, we encountered a problem – the characters seemed to overlook our table. It took flagging down a waiter for them to finally make their way over, albeit briefly, for autographs and snapshots before being whisked away again. The breakfast spread, while offering both hot and cold options, left much to be desired. The buffet lacked variety, and the food quality was mediocre at best. Long queues and dwindling selections only added to the disappointment, leaving me questioning the value of the experience. Yet, amidst my mixed feelings, the genuine joy and excitement radiating from my grandsons, aged 6 and 2, offered a silver lining. It was my eldest grandson's birthday, and witnessing his sheer delight and that of his younger brother made the morning worthwhile in its own right. The grandchildren did get to meet Eeyore, Captain Hook, Pluto, Geppetto, Pinocchio, and Tigger. In conclusion, the character breakfast at Disneyland Paris left me with conflicting impressions. While the lack of interaction with the characters and culinary letdowns were undeniable, the priceless joy it brought to my grandchildren's faces remains a cherished memory. So, while it may not have lived up to my expectations, the happiness it brought to my family ultimately outweighed the shortcomings. Would I do it again?
