This place had been saved in my IG folders for years!

When I finally got to visit I realised just how hot it was 😂

But the history behind this temple is one of my favourite stories. All about a female who tried to take over and rule, she fought hard but the men took back the throne and tried to destroy anything she had built. MEAN!

Egypt is just fu***ng cool and full of the most interesting history.

Did you learn about ancient Egypt when you was at school? It’s one of the only things I do remember learning 😂

What does being a Digital Nomad mean to you? 🤔

For me it means freedom, creativity, exploring and connection.

I get the freedom to do what I want, earn what I want and live where I want.

I can be creative and choose which projects or clients I work with.

I get to explore new places and explore new ideas.

And I get to connect with people on different levels whether that’s a local person where I’m living or meeting people with similar mindsets to me.

That’s what it means to me and why I love this lifestyle ❤️

So far this week has been a little manic let’s say 😂 moving to Mexico for short term. Looking for an apartment and just trying to navigate with my life in a suitcase again.

🤷🏼‍♀️ One of the hardest things I find about travelling is having a routine and staying healthy. So this time I’m really working on that.

Being able to travel and work online is not as unattainable as you may think. If you dream about a different life, one that has more freedom, exploring beaches and learning about new cultures, then that's great because you can still do that while earning an income online! Are you wondering how? Well, let me tell you! 👇

The best way to start is to think about what kind of Digital Nomad you want to be. Whether you enjoy the security of being a standard contracted employee, earning the same amount every month. Potentially you enjoy earning by the hour and like the fact you can set your own schedule and fees. But you’re okay with the fact money can fluctuate each month. 📊
Or whether you’ve had a great business idea and are happy to put in the hours building an online business and having an uncapped income.

Figure that out first, look at which skills you already have and can be used for online work. If you don’t have any, think about what kind of work you would be interested in and then start to invest in some education to gain the skills. 📚

You can begin doing all of this around another existing job. You may need to sacrifice some time or weekends to work on your new Digital Nomad lifestyle dream, but it will add up and you will be closer to achieving your goal. Once you have the skills under your belt, you can begin applying for jobs, networking with clients if you are going freelance, or begin setting up your online business. Ultimately you can do a mixture of the different types too, multiple incomes are the best way to gain wealth. 💸

Planning for 2022! ✨ What have you been doing to plan for this new year?

I always find setting my yearly goals and turning them Into shorter monthly/ weekly and daily goals manageable and actually makes the goals achievable. 😍

❤️A goal without a plan is just a dream. Your success comes from what you do on a daily basis.

Today was my first working day of 2022 and it went amazingly! I already feel more fulfilled with what I’m doing this year.

I still have many things I want to work out. One of my biggest challenges in balancing work life with my health. For me one of my goals is to eat better and move more. 🏋️‍♀️🧘‍♀️

Have you heard the term "Digital Nomad" 👩🏼‍💻 a lot these past few years but you don't know what exactly it entails? Not to worry because I'm here to tell you! 👏

The label Digital Nomad has become more popular in recent years as people opt for this new lifestyle. This label can be broken down as ‘Digital’ being online/ through technology,👩🏼‍💻 and ‘Nomad’ comes in as people travel from place to place. 🗺

Basically, a Digital Nomad is a fancy version of Remote Worker but adds some travelling into the phrase. Meaning a person can work remotely while being location independent, being able to work online from anywhere in the world. 🌎

Digital Nomads get to pick where they work from, typically working from home, a van, co-working, public libraries, coffee shops, or cafes. The Digital Nomad lifestyle is different for each person and it will depend on which kind of type they are.

I have been a Digital Nomad since the summer of 2020, just before the pandemic hit. Which stopped me from being able to travel for a while so I was only doing the "Digital" part of the term. I’ve tried many types of online work and businesses previous to that. It really is about finding what you enjoy doing so it’s okay to try things out.

As the world of remote work begins to grow, more and more people are finding new ways to live and work. One of them is the Digital Nomad Lifestyle, working remotely and living in different locations around this beautiful world. 🗺

You may think that working online 👩🏼‍💻 while travelling is all rainbows 🌈 and flowers 🌼 but there are many things digital nomads have to sacrifice.

The worst things about being a Digital Nomad may vary from person to person but it's hard to keep all the pros and cons of this lifestyle in balance. ⚖️

I’ve been travelling for a few years now while working remotely in different locations as a Digital Nomad. It has been very much a learning curve in every new place I have travelled to. 🌍

These are some of the things I have found the most challenging about nomadic life:👇

- Temporary relationships
- Loneliness and isolation
- Trouble dating
- Missing out at home with friends and family
- Getting into routines – Changing places
- Road fatigue
- Self-motivation and discipline
- Finding a place to live
- Income & expenses vary
- Judgment from people who don’t understand Nomadic Life

Another CRAZY temple in Egypt 🇪🇬 and another of my favourites, just the sheer scale of this one will blow you away. 🤯

Built by King Ramases II, super close to the Sudan border as a way of claiming the land and warning off invaders.

Ramses definitely loved himself as he made the temples all about himself, even the one he built for his wife is about him. 😂

Again this temple was moved by UNESCO due to the Nile flooding and covering up the temple.

How MAD that they moved this whole Temple and then rebuilt the mountain behind it to make it look the same as before. Crazy work! 😱

This temple did take a while to get to but it is definitely worth the 3-hour drive there and then 3 hours back.

It’s so Unique to some of the other temples as it was built into the mountains.

This placed WOWED me! 🙀 The Egyptians really outdid themselves with the Philae temple. This temple altogether was built on an entirely different island and included details to measure the level of the Nile. UNESCO did a campaign project to get the temple moved as the original island kept flooding. So they took down every piece and rebuilt the whole thing on another island. Which I find crazier than them even building this.

I loved the setting of this temple, surrounded by the water of the Nile and with lush green trees. 🌴 The only way to get there is by boat and you can imagine how life used to be like there.

🙀 Can you believe it’s DECEMBER! ✨ I feel like after we lost an entire year and a bit to the pandemic (and still going) 2021 has gone by so quickly. I’m actually shocked how quick this year has gone. 😱

There have been some major high and low points for me so far this year, hoping December will go smoothly. But I’m hoping 2022 can actually bring some more normality back and give us all a completely decent year. 💙

I’m going to be working hard this December, organising my work and trying to kick some goals I’ve been working on for a while. ✅ While making sure I have time to spend with friends and family! ❤️

🐪 My camel was not having a good day 🙄😬

When I went to Giza pyramids I really wanted to go to this view point 👀which is a bit far from the main area. You either have to get here by camel, horseback or horse and cart. Rarely anyone walks as it’s far and you are exposed to extreme heat 🥵

I had never been on a camel 🐪 before so I thought I would try it here in the pyramids so get to this view point. My friends and guide helped organise the ride so I didn’t have to deal with haggling. But as soon as I got in the camel I felt like I had bad a bad choice. 🙅🏼‍♀️ The camel was very grumpy and it was like he really didn’t want me on him or to be walking, I felt very guilty about it 🙈 so even though this view point was amazing I spent a lot of time thinking about my camel friend.

Then the camel guide stopped me and asked me for a tip and got extremely grumpy when I only gave him 20egp/ £1 which is what my friend told me to give him. He persisted me greedily for more money 💰(keep in mind the tour was paid for) asked if I had any USD, was super awkward as I said no and refused him. 🙈🙈

Nearly 2 weeks back in the UK 🇬🇧 and I’m missing the sunshine already ☀️
Let’s hope my tan doesn’t fade too fast and lasts till the next adventure 😂

Don’t be afraid of being different, be afraid of being the same as everyone else 💙

A lot of my life I always felt different, like I never fully fit in but I’ve come to realise that’s what makes me who I am. People think digital nomads are running away from ‘commitment’ ‘settling down’ or the so called normal adult life but that’s never what I wanted, I never wanted to get a mortgage or have a 9-5. I realised I’m not running away from anything but simply following my dreams of travel.

I learnt a lot over the past few years to truly not care about other peoples opinions and just live for myself. It’s good to be different 💙

Don’t let someone else’s ideas about how the world should be stop you from living the way you truly want. 🙅🏼‍♀️

If you don’t want to live in house but live in a van, If you don’t want children or maybe you don’t want to be married, maybe you don’t even want to live anywhere and you want to travel. figure out what you want. That’s okay 👌🏻 society tells us different but we don’t have to follow that ❌

So many people go into buying mortgages 🏠 they can’t afford or settling for a relationship they aren’t totally happy in 💔 feeling like they need to have children in their 20s 👨‍👩‍👧 all because of the pressures from society. Figure out what you really want and be brave enough to do that 💪🏻

⁉️ Hayley how do you afford to travel full time? 🌎 Using these babies right here my laptop and my mind 💻🤔

Been working online self employed for over a year now. I figured out a legit way to make money and just got on with it. There are so many ways to earn and if you don’t have the skills for them you can learn them. If you want this lifestyle you can totally have it, but you do need to work for it. I’m not lucky at all I just worked hard.
