Advertising and marketing budgets are bouncing back! The latest IPA Bellwether Q4 2024 report shows a rebound after a rare dip last quarter. But one thing hasn’t wavered: event budgets have grown every single quarter since 2022.

Wrapping up a year of sustainability progress at Imagination!

As the quote goes, “You can’t manage what you don’t measure” and this has been our guiding principle over the past 12 months as we’ve focused on reducing our carbon footprint. The results speak for themselves:

✅ Achieved PlanetMark certification for 2022/23 and immediately recertified for 2023/24
✅ Reduced total emissions by 30%
✅ Cut office energy consumption by 46%
✅ Switched 73.8% of office electricity to renewable energy

We’ve invested in energy efficiency at our London HQ, upgrading to LED lighting and a modern a/c system - taking our EPC rating from a G to B!

Our team is at the heart of this journey. With company-wide sustainability training and enhanced resources for our live event teams (thanks, Isla - sustainability in events!), everyone is empowered to play their part.

What’s next? We’re targeting at least 5% annual emissions reductions, expanding our scope 3 measurements, and exploring renewable energy solutions in more markets.

This year has been a team effort, and we’re proud of the progress made. Here’s to building an even more sustainable future in 2025 and beyond!
