A herd is approaching! 🐘 ⁠

On 28 March, over 55 striking and colourful elephants will arrive in west Dorset, each designed and painted by talented artists.⁠
⁠
The 'Stampede by the Sea' interactive art trail will be a fun and FREE way to get out and about this spring. As well as admiring the beauty of the herd, everyone is encouraged to scan the QR codes printed on each sculpture, opening up a world of games, challenges and competitions. Prizes include winning a family pass to Mapperton House and Gardens. ⁠

Stampede by the Sea is raising funds for Weldmar Hospicecare supporting their incredible end-of-life care services.⁠

Our wonderful cleaners and local managers will soon be busy preparing our caravans for the new season. We open at most locations on 15 March. Early breaks start from £220 for up to 6 guests for 7 nights in wheelchair accessible accommodation. At our Haven locations use of our Charity Friends & Family cards make your money go a little further; no additional passes needed, and the benefit of owners discounts on site.

We aren't open for the early half term holiday, but if you are looking ahead to May half term for a family break away, we have great availability. We have our wheelchair accessible caravans at Haven sites, Church Farm, Pagham; Blue Dolphin, Filey; Seashore, Great Yarmouth, Littlesea, Weymouth and our private park, Pentewan Sands, St. Austell. We also have availability at our two standard caravans at Hoburne Naish, New Milton and Hoburne Devon Bay, Paignton. All sites include use of the facilities and available entertainment. At Haven sites our Charity Friends and Family cards also give 50% off additional fee paying activities and 15% off in the onsite restaurants and bars when shown. It certainly helps with the expense of a family holiday. Taken from our feedback forms last year, 100% of our guests would recommend The Holiday Homes Trust. While we may not get everything spot on 100% of the time (although we try our best), we always listen and do what we can to improve and avoid repeat issues.
Our 8 wheelchair accessible caravans all have parking spaces, ramps, wider sliding doorways and wet rooms with pull down shower seats and grab rails. Beds are standard with slatted bed bases, not profiling. We don't provide any additional equipment apart from either a frame stand pulley or ceiling mounted handles to assist at bedtime. There is space in the main bedroom for a portable hoist if owned or hired independently.
Caravans on Haven sites come with use of our charity owners cards included; they give access to swimming pools and entertainment, 50% off of any additional fee paying activities and 15% off in the onsite restaurants and bars if you show our card.

Our holiday season has now finished for this year. Our cleaners are busy shutting our caravans down for winter, and drain downs and inspections will be done shortly.
