diYachting was founded in 2001 by Matt & Lizzie Abbiss, after they had discovered a passion for the sea. A British organisation, we have since evolved to become a management and charter company of luxury yachts ranging in size from 60 to 80ft. We provide a complete range of yacht management solutions, taking the stress away from owning a vessel and running a crew. Our team of experts can provide a wide array of services, including yacht purchases & registrations, MCA coding, MLC compliance, project & shoreside management, charter management and crew services. Our dedicated Technical Services department can also source the latest products & equipment as well as offer service, support and installation worldwide.

Ben and Sandy’s common love for the ocean had them meet in 2019 whilst sailing. Now married, they work together full time, combining both their skills and experience. This is their second season on board Twin Pride and having overseen the recent refit, they are both invested in doing a fantastic job. Meet them in Poros!

Our Story

diYachting, or Disco Inferno Yacht Charters as it was called back then, was founded in 2001 by Matt & Lizzie Abbiss. Having spent 12 years working full time on board sailing yachts as crew and managers chartering in the Mediterranean, Caribbean and UK , covering over 100,000 miles together. After their final yacht was sold to a private owner they decided to move ashore and focus their time on high quality yacht management and charter of luxury crewed sailing yachts from 60ft and above. diYachting has gone from strength to strength with the team constantly growing. We have just moved into our new office building that was refurbished just for us allowing us to expand further, we now have a strong team of 10, most of whom are sailors but living and working by the sea in Southend, we all share a love of the ocean and all things nautical.
