Did you know that an ESTA allows you to stay in the US for up to 90 days? The ESTA is valid for 2 years and you may travel to the country multiple times without having to apply for a new ESTA. Just make sure you absolutely do not stay longer than 90 days, otherwise you risk a fine. Also, you will then no longer be able to travel to America with an ESTA in the future. The New Zealand authorities raised the tourist tax substantially on 1 October 2024. It has gone up from 35 New Zealand dollars to 100 New Zealand dollars (an increase of about 30 GBP). You pay this tax immediately when you apply for a NZeTA. Most international travellers are required to apply for an NZeTA for a trip to New Zealand.
