Hungarian Stonehenge in the middle of Budapest? No, it's a Roman amphitheatre that belonged to the Roman settlement Aquincum, which used to be at the place of what we call Γ“buda today. Although these ruins are a bit far from the touristy centre, it is still a quite popular location. Believe it or not, its arena is actually bigger than the Colosseum's in Rome. The reason for the size is the fact that this building had military purposes too, and served as a training ground as well.
