New member! 🎊

We are so pleased to welcome Gill Burham to The London Artisan. Gill’s lanterns are handmade using her illustrations and colourful designs. Each one is screen printed onto translucent Japanese paper which lets through plenty of light; illuminating the design. Lanterns are supplied with a glass candle jar and a maxi tea light which creates a lovely warm glow - perfect for alfresco dining, summer nights, parties, and cosy evenings 🕯

Is there anything more joyful than an accessory made of pineapples?! 🍍

Piñatex® is a natural leather alternative made from cellulose fibres extracted from pineapple leaves, PLA, and petroleum-based resin. Miniature origami rabbit earrings, from the Blue batik with sakura flowers yuzen washi collection.

Shu Ying highlights the beauty of two worlds (Japan culture and Peranakan culture) through the rabbit, a symbol of abundance, good luck, as well as joy.

Folded from a single sheet of paper, following the traditional art of origami (only folds, without cuts/glue) treated to be water-resistant and durable, with gold attachments. Papers are carefully selected, personally, from the highest quality of yuzen washi in Japan.

Farol is a ceiling lamp with defined geometric shapes and solid neutral colours, combining painted steel and cork, in a simple and minimalist design that irradiates a soft diffuse spotlight to create a warm cosy ambience.
"Our intent was to design a lamp that would make a statement even without being in use, most lamps when turned off become lifeless, an empty shell and Farol contradicts that idea through its bold structure especially when you combine several of them together, creating a stronger visual impact."
