The UK government is looking to revamp its Jet Zero Taskforce!, established in 2020 with the aim to help the airline sector decarbonize to make aviation more sustainable and reduce emissions. This alongside the new UK SAF mandate starting January 1, 2025, which will require airlines to use at least 22% sustainable aviation fuel by 2040, means the UK is making a significant push towards the future of sustainable aviation!

Wizz Air, Europe's budget airline, has shared some exciting news! They're teaming up with aircraft manufacturer Airbus to test out eco-friendly aviation fuel on two of their routes.
This sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) will be provided by Cepsa and distributed by World Fuel Services for the trial flights.
The routes they'll be testing it on? From Barcelona and Brussels Charleroi to their home base in Budapest.
It's a great step towards greener air travel!

Good news! British Airways has expanded it’s codeshare partnerships with Indian carrier IndiGo and South American airline LATAM. The codeshare with IndiGo, which they have had since last September, has now been extended to 18 destinations across India including Goa and Ahmedabad. BA will also codeshare with LATAM to 14 destinations across Brazil via São Paulo and Rio de Janeiro. Good news for travellers with more flight options available, better connectivity, and a smoother travel experience!

The new lounge can accommodate up to 125 passengers, including first and business class travellers, as well as Emirates Skywards members. Offering facilities like showers, free Wi-Fi, and food and drinks from Sussex-based Full Circle Farms, known for its “farm to table” menus. A welcome touch of luxury for the business traveller!

has teamed up with a US startup to work on developing future blended-wing aircraft. These innovative planes are expected to reduce fuel consumption and greenhouse gas emissions by up to 50% compared to traditional designs, and they may even be powered by hydrogen.
JetZero’s ultra-efficient blended-wing body jet is already attracting attention, with backing from the U.S. Air Force, NASA, and the FAA. The first of these aircraft is expected to be ready for service as early as 2030.
