Introducing Georgia, one of our brilliant Brand Ambassadors! 🤩Here’s her story…

Hey I’m Georgia!

This will be my third summer as French Woods Festival of the Performing Arts in Hancock, New York, I have gone from a General Counsellor, to a Ropes Counsellor to the Head of Ropes! 🎭🧗🗽

I love returning and seeing all of my friends and my girls! My kids are one of the main reasons I return, the thought of seeing their faces year after year and seeing how much they have changed but also stayed the same, I love my kids!

Seeing those kids and when they remember me and want to tell me all of what has happened that they haven’t already told me throughout the year and seeing their excitement is a gift! 🎁

Camp has taught me that sometimes, regardless of how old you are, you still need to be a kid sometimes and not take life too seriously. The lessons camp teach you are like no other, learning to ride a horse for the first time or showing you that to everything has to do with you.

My favourite thing is seeing my kids laugh and be happy but also feel safe with me to confide in things.

Having the travelling after camp is a perk! Saying goodbye to my kids is so hard but knowing we’re returning gives me the joy and seeing them react to me returning keeps me going back! 🥹

Whether it is road tripping the US, nights in Miami, a small coastal town where the hardest choice is the beach or the pool or going along the Brooklyn Bridge with your best friends who know you better than anyone else and you’ve only known them for 4 months! Camp gives you it all!

I can’t wait to see all the new faces this summer and see what this year teaches me about my kids, my friends and myself 🎁💓
