Iconic London Taxi Tour - Jim and Andi from California. Time Travel Tours clients, along with a review received this morning.

Chris and Andy City Tour: These guys are fantastic! I can’t imagine a better way to see the sights of London. They are highly trained and experienced. They know so much history about London, and they know how to dodge and weave their way into the best locations in the City to avoid the tourist crunch. They are the real deal, and I can’t recommend them highly enough. Please pass that on to Ginger for us!

Saturday Walk part III. Horseguards, the original entrance to St James Palace and Buckingham Palace. The red carpet that is The Mall linking Trafalgar Square to Buckingham Palace. Up the Duke of York Steps to Carlton House Terrace and the grave of the N**i Dog Giro. Giro belonged to the German Ambassador who died after chewing through electric cable at the rear of the then embassy at 9 Carlton House Terrace in 1934. Finally the Granite Stones outside the Athenaeum Club in Waterloo Place. These were placed here at the suggestion of then then Prime Minister Arthur Wellesley, the Duke of Wellington to help him Mount and dismount his horse. 190 years later they’re still here.

Saturday walk part II .. from The Onion Garden went to St James Park via the Cockpit Steps. What remains of an 18th century site for cockfighting with some graffiti of the day. And then the park itself looking resplendent on a summer day with its beautiful flower beds and its family of Pelicans. Pelicans were first introduced to the park when they were gifted to King Charles II by the then Russian Ambassador.

These ladies from Minnesota got straight off the plane to explore London ahead of their week’s stay. Always a good idea to help you navigate our great city and find out the places you want to immerse yourself in. Oh and they were off to see Taylor Swift too.

Black Cab Heritage has sadly lost one of our talented and affable Guides.

An experienced member of our crew, David Platt passed away last Sunday leaving a huge void in the lives of his family and friends.

Anyone lucky enough to have toured with Dave would have been enriched by his wealth of knowledge and his engaging humour.

David was a devoted husband, father and grandfather - who left us all too soon.

He was a great bloke, and one of those genuine really nice guys.

David Platt RIP.

❗️We are raising money for his family: https://www.justgiving.com/crowdfunding/nick-over?utm_term=E4x7e4WEQ
