We worked with Pace Gallery and our designated Mtec team to carry out some ground work prior to the installation of ' 'Power Tower' (2019), which brings a lyrical movement to this historic green space in the city.

Benglis has created pioneering forms of abstraction and sculptures that eschew minimalist reserve in favor of bold colors, sensual lines, and lyrical references to the human body.

📍 Visit and see the sculpture at Hanover Square, London. In place until October 14, 2024.

Now on view: Yayoi Kusama's Pumpkin, 2024. Serpentine Galleries and The Royal Parks have just unveiled Kusama's tallest bronze pumpkin sculpture to date, installed in Kensington Gardens.

Kusama is known for her immersive installations, large-scale sculptures, intricate paintings and of course, her signature polka dot pattern. Kobacha or pumpkins of many forms, colours and shapes are often featured in her work which is rooted to her childhood. The artist's family cultivated the plant’s seeds, with their home surrounded by fields of this squash.

Yayoi Kusama: "I am sending to London with love my giant pumpkin. Since my childhood pumpkins have been a great comfort to me, they are such tender things to touch, so appealing in colour and form. They are humble and amusing at the same time and speak to me of the joy of living."

📅 Pumpkin (2024) will be on view at the Round Pond, Kensington Gardens until 3 November.
