Our Story
Once you have reserved the trip you want to take from our www.donkey-tours.gr We come and pick you up from your location and transfer you to the donkey terminal. Once the tour is over, we return you back to the location we pick it you up. If you want us to drop you off to a different location, there will be a fee of TEN EUROS PER PERSON
Our location is at the natural place of the donkeys, the mountain. The trips take place in the early evening starting at 16:00 PM and end at 20:00 PM. we do 4 trips a day we rotate our animals this way each animal does two trips. The guide takes you up to the highest spot of the mountain at a slow pace so you can enjoy the view of the caldera, once we are at the white cross we stay there for ten minutes to take pictures of the view of Oia village, Thirasia island, Akrotiri and the volcano.
Once we arrive at the end of the terminal we offer you a traditional Santorini snack and wine. we also inform you about the history of donkey and all the background of how this beautiful animal help it to build Santorini.
