What a fantastic week at ITB in Berlin 🇩🇪
It was an absolute pleasure working alongside Tourism Ireland and Tourism Northern Ireland promoting our country to tour operators from all over the world.
Derry had fantastic representation with the amazing Karen Henderson also on the stand 💛👏
I made some fabulous connections with people in the industry but also with tour operators interested in sending clients to Derry if they don’t already💛

Happy World Book Day 📖

My 10 year old son decided he wanted to dress up as his Granda Martin for the occasion- and yes he has the book to back up his “costume” 😅 (see pic 2)

This wasn’t even an influence from his mammy - as I’m in Berlin promoting Derry so nothing to do with me 😅💛

He has the wit and creativity of his Granda Martin that’s for sure 💛💛

10 years today without our main man 💛 Not a day goes by where we don’t talk about him or where I don’t have a question for him wondering “what would daddy do?” He would be so proud seeing how far tourism in the city has progressed - the groundwork of which was laid by him 💛 I hope we are doing him proud. What a week it has been !
The Foyle Cup in the city has seen 740 teams from all over the world Grace our region with their football skills this week.
Tourist attractions and providers have been inundated with families and supporters enjoying the fantastic hospitality our city has to offer.
I have 2 young lads who countdown to this week every year and a husband who takes the week off work to voluntarily coach their teams (like all other coaches and organisers involved )
Restaurants and cafes have been bustling - hotels packed to the rafters , our city walls and museums have seen swarms of football kits - the rewards of this voluntary locally organised event are endless!
And although my boys haven’t lifted any trophies - a great week was had across the board!

We are operating as normal all over the Bank holiday weekend . Everyday public tours at 10am,12noon,2pm and 4pm only £6pp - no need to book just show up.
We also have our public Derry Girls tour on Saturday at 12noon - spaces available - booking essential!

The talent in our town is incredible, the singing, dancing and acting was next level .
I saw a show a few weeks ago that was huge on the west end for years and West Side Story last night blew it out of the park.
