Walking about the harbour in extreme low tide!

Be careful out there! The tide can turn and come in very quickly so make sure you don’t get stuck!

Also wear wellies so you don’t get sucked into oily quicksand! 🤪🤣

IMPORTANT UPDATE‼️‼️

As of November 22nd our wee cottage will no longer have bunk beds!! ❌

We have decided to give the cabin room a beautiful make over, freshly decorated walls and a lovely new carpet as well as a lovely new double bed! 🛏️

Bookings from now on will be for up to four guests. (2 in the bedroom and 2 on the sofa bed in the lounge). We can still accommodate a little person in a travel cot too!

If you are considering a stay with us please keep this in mind! 🙌🏻🛌

Remember if you need somewhere bigger we own Bethel Holiday Lodge which can accommodate up to six people with two bathrooms!!

I remember putting up this ceiling compass ahead of our guests arriving! I think it might have been the single most stressful thing I’ve ever done!

Up a ladder, pregnant, holding an actual compass to make sure I got it exactly correct!!

Oh the memories!! 🤪

So if you’re lying in bed gazing up and wondering if it’s accurate- I can tell you with certainty that it’s 100% accurate!! 🤣🤣🤣

The thing I love most about having a holiday cottage means I get to meet guests year on year. It’s the biggest compliment ever that a guest wants to return and stay with us.

It’s just along the road from Boatshore Cottage and although it doesn’t have the sea view, the lodge is just a four minute walk to the beach and is situated in a sweet little circular street with a cute waterfall. With a wrap around veranda, Bethel Lodge gets the sun from early morning sunrise to beautiful evening sunsets. If you book to stay here, you will get all the loving attention you would usually get from The Biddulph family at the Boatshore but with all the fabulous EXTRAS! Being part of the Holiday Park means you can get access to all the facilities which includes two swimming pools, a golf course, kids park, go karts, bars, the restaurant, entertainment in the show bar, arcades, on site takeaways and much more.
