Woodsaws Farm Holiday Cottages is situated 6 miles from the popular fishing town of Looe. It is,a working family farm set on 180 acres of beautiful, rural countryside. It includes a ten-acre woodland which links with footpaths leading down to the West Looe valley. Woodsaws Farm Holiday Cottage was a stone built 19th century mill, converted into three spacious and comfortable properties: The Mill,
our holiday cottage, and The Parlour and Rumsdale, equally spacious privately rented properties. The main farm house was built 100-150 years prior to The Mill and has been owned by the same family for over 20 years. When renovated in 2000, The Mill was purposefully built to accommodate wheelchair users, with a large downstairs double bedroom and separate accessible shower and W/C. The Mill has double glazing and central heating throughout, and a log fire in the lounge, making it cosy and snug for winter breaks. We are situated near the village of Lanreath, which has a community shop and post office within walking distance. The famous fishing village of Looe and the picturesque village of Polperro are within a 10-minute drive. The nearest supermarkets are Morrisons and Aldi in Liskeard,which is 11 miles away. Fowey, (pronounced f-oi not f-ow-ee) and west Cornwall can be accessed by the Bodinnick ferry which lies 5.8 miles south west from us. Bodmin Moor is 10 miles north of us where you can hunt for the Beast of Bodmin Moor or really take in a view from horse back with TM International, Henwood. We also run haulage and forage businesses, with a variety of lorries working locally and around the UK. Although it is usually very peaceful here and we love your interest and curiosity of this place, we do ask you are aware when driving or walking in and out of the farm that there may be heavy farm machinery, free range children or animals around. There is ample parking provided and special rates can be negotiated for smaller parties and short stays. Pets are welcome too at £25 each.
