Here are some of the most FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS…

ARE YOU DOG FRIENDLY?
Yes! We love welcoming your furry friends at Sandy Haven Caravan! We even provide some tasty treats, poo bags, dog bowls, a towel and blanket for use during your stay. We also provide a comprehensive list of dog friendly eateries and our favourite walks! We have no hard and fast rules regarding dogs, we just ask that they are not left unattended in the caravan and that they stay off the beds.

DO YOU HAVE DECKING?
Yes! 2 generous and secure decking areas to the front and side of the caravan. There’s a picnic bench for alfresco dining and 2 chairs for comfortably watching the sun go down!

WHERE ARE YOU LOCATED?
We are pitched on Sandy Way. This is in the newer part of the park nearer the golf course and is quiet and peaceful. There is nothing but dunes in front of the caravan and we are on a lodge pitch so have lots of space around us! It’s just a 5-10 minute walk to the entertainment complex and you can be on the beach in less than 1 minute!

IS YOUR CARAVAN SUITABLE FOR YOUNG CHILDREN?
Absolutely! We pride ourselves on being very family friendly! In the caravan you will find toys, books, dvds, games, puzzles, colouring in books and buckets and spades! The secure decking gives peace of mind and we can provide a high chair, travel cot and bed guard.

HOW MUCH PER NIGHT?
Our nightly cost varies from £100 to £125 per night depending on the time of year and length of stay. Message today for a no obligation quote.

HOW MUCH DO I HAVE TO PAY AT TIME OF BOOKING?
Low booking deposits (£50 per weekend, £100 per 4 nights +). Full balance due 4 weeks before your stay. Booking direct is always the cheapest way to book! We can also be found on AirBnB.

WHAT IS YOUR CANCELLATION POLICY?
Full refund if cancelled up to 4 weeks before your stay. 50% refund if cancelled within 2-4 weeks of your stay. If you have to cancel within 2 weeks of your stay, I will try my best to re-sell the dates. If I can, I will fully refund your stay.

A very belated Happy New Year! 🥳

We spent Hogmanay on the beautiful West Coast. Our accommodation was so fantastic and such good value for money that I wanted to share it here incase anyone fancies a trip to Gairloch! It was exceptionally clean, very cosy and comfortable, excellently equipped, newly refurbished, very dog friendly and had fabulous views! The host also owns the local pony trekking school where you can book beach treks. I think I have high standards at Sandy Haven but I was in awe at the attention to detail in this place! Perfect for a couple or family of 4. Check it out!

Oh, and my booking diary for 2024 is OPEN too! January seems to be the month where folk like to book their breaks away for the year, so get in quick before the dates disappear 😊
