Aaaaand that’s a wrap 2024! We had another wonderful year welcoming guests from all parts of the world 😍 🌏 🙏🏼 Our last guest book entry of 2024 are guests from Ireland, Germany and Australia. We want to say a heartfelt thank you to all our guests who keep on coming and being wonderful and of course to our loyal and hard working Viv who helps us achieve our goals every year! 👏🏻💪❤️ Daffodil cottage is now occupied by a wonderful couple for the winter months and will be back in May 2025! If you fancy visiting our lovely town, get in touch! Whether it’s our fantastic festivals or the surrounding beaches and countless attractions, there is not much that comes close to this cute & friendly little town by the river Fowey!

Charlestown harbour and its surrounding costal path are a great visit during summer!⚓️ All walks are stunning from either side of the path and there’s always something happening in this little town!! 🚣🏿‍♀️ The shipwreck museum is well worth a visit, the ice cream is delicious 🍦and there is a lot of food on offer 😋🥙 15 min drive from the cottage me hearties!! 😃 🏴‍☠️🏴‍☠️

May is here, hooray!! 🌷🌼 Lostwithiel is gleaming in the freshest of greens 🍀🌱🌳 and bluest of blues 💙🦋 after cleaning our little cottage I treated myself with yummy ice cream from please give them a visit when you’re here 🍦😋 yummiest ice cream and a lovely chat guaranteed 🥰

Charlestown harbour ⚓️⚓️⚓️ on a bit of a moody weather Friday evening, but still totally stunning! The harbour is filled with old sailing boats and boasts with pirate charm 🏴‍☠️🥰 There’s a buzzing atmosphere everywhere, all pubs and restaurants are busy and have a delightful fish menu 🐟😋 The fairy lights around the harbour are just magnificent!! 💡💡 Only 20 mins drive from Lostwithiel! 🥰

Last week was all about getting the show on the road for our little starlet cottage 🤩 and we really succeeded thankfully with great help of family members and brilliant tradesmen! 👌🏼🙌🏼There’s a freshly painted yellow door, swish new bathroom tiles, some new prints on the walls - and our new cool patio swing chair! We welcomed a family with a little one and we made sure we left a little something for their Cornwall holiday! 🥰

Trip to paradise with our Germans yesterday and a dinner stop at the Gallion Inn who served drinks and yummy pizzas quick and friendly followed by a stroll through town with our beloved ice cream from . Lovely day! Thanks Fowey ❤️

Our little gem Daffodil cottage was in much need of modernisation when we bought it at the beginning of 2019. The cottage received a make over into something we call cornish-scandi and we achieved turning it into a boutique little cottage, available to rent for holidays. The cottage is cute and cosy and is conveniently located in charming Lostwithiel - a sweet cornish town with shops and restaurants nearby. Daffodil cottage provides the perfect location to explore Cornwall in the fullest!
