With a ridiculously comfy double bed, heated blankets, snuggly throws and fairy lights - you can’t help but relax with only birdsong as a backdrop.
All our cabins contain a mini fridge, games, kettle, toaster, tea / coffee / hot chocolate and a full guide with everything to do in the area 🙌
There’s also a secluded decked space outside with a gas-fired BBQ, nestled under the canopy of trees for some al-fresco dining. At night, wrap up and get cosy under a beautiful blanket of stars ✨

🐣 ALL THE FUN OF THE FARM 🐣
During the school holidays, I took my daughter for a lovely little day @randfarmpark . We visited the baby chicks, bottle fed the lambs and calves, stroked the donkeys and goats and then finished the rest of the day outside on the huge play park. Such a great day, would definitely recommend!

🌳 FAMILY TIME 🌳
Despite the mud (SO MUCH MUD) and chilly weather, we had a lovely little family outing this weekend ❤️
Determined to get out and adventure more this year, we braved the elements and had an invigorating walk around local beauty Hubbards Hills. It’s literally 10 minutes in the car from us and is such a relaxing place, with the river Lud flowing through a beautiful backdrop of chalk steep-sided valleys.
With the winter sun shining through the woodland it felt particularly magical and restorative ✨ so lucky to have this on our doorstep!

We enjoyed a lovely little evening last weekend, over @stourtonestates for their annual enchanted lights event! ❤️
The whole forest shone in a rainbow of colours, it felt so magical meandering through the pathways and twinkly lights 🪄
There was story telling for the little ones, fire and ice dancers and the most ENORMOUS marshmallows for roasting 😋There was also a wonderful array of local food stalls to cater for every taste…. And all just 20 minutes down the road 🙌

🐮 Birthday Getaway 🐮 Last week the hubby and I took off for a few days to celebrate our birthdays. With the chaos of life, it’s not often we get change to escape! So we made the most of it and had a wonderful few days in Rutland Water 🌳 Lots of fresh air and countryside walks through beautiful scenery, topped off with a morning ‘cow cuddling’ at Ahimsa Eco Dairy ☺️ It was such a fabulous experience and something I’d definitely recommend (if you like cows of course 😂) Ahimsa means ‘non-violent’…. Their ethos being all farming does not entail any harm to their animals or land. The cows were so calm and peaceful… the love and care they receive really shines through in these soft natured creatures 💜 The guys at Ahimsa are doing such an incredible job, it made our time away even more special 🥰

Such a special place to witness sunrise! A super tranquil spot overlooking the fields all around us. I love sitting here and just listening to the beautiful bird song… the chaos of life temporarily paused 💜
