Absolutely over the moon with this casting I done on Friday , it's been a while and I just love how it's turned out.
It even looks like it's formed into the shape of a heart 💗
A few bits need to be done before I can fully leave it to dry, I can't wait to see this finished 😍
Just a little peek at 1 of the casts from a couple of days ago.
4 hands, Mother 2 of her Daughters and 1 Son.
After 8 thumbs and 32 fingers piecered their way through, it looked very confusing on who's hands were where 🙈😂
A very fiddly one at that.
Making sure every hole was filled was a task, but one that went reasonably well considering, how they were placed 😉 pictures to follow soon, once I've taken them and shown family.
With the boys being off school now, they may be later than usual. 💟

Soo sorry I've been quiet on top of doing the odd little bits on casts I've had a joint Harry potter themed party to organise. 🧙
What's taken me a week to sort and decorate now feels like it's going to take a month to get everything back to its original place 🙈
This was taken at 12am and wasn't even completed this morning 🤦🏼♀️

First look at the hand and foot Fresh from the molding ☺️
LOTS of hours go into a casting but the first day of it being out of the mold is crucial, ⏳
If not it may mean having to get another casting redone, which will mean more costs for either of us. (Depending on who is at fault)
It's just one of them things and sometimes can't be helped. 🙁
Not even I know how it'll look until it's out of the mold.
I have to get rid of any air bubbles and any extra plaster if there is any, then buff and sculpt, to make sure it looks 👌 before then sanding them down to make sure they fit into frames and onto bases. 💗
** You might be able to work out on the hand, that there was a lot of plaster to get off under the fingers.
This was due to baby wriggling his fingers whilst mold was setting.
Obviously can't be helped all babies do it, but it turned out just fine once I'd finished with it 😁 **
