Sunshine and bluebells - and a close encounter with some roe deer. This was early morning on the ramparts of Burrow Hill Iron Age hill fort, near Craven Arms. The deer spotted me almost immediately and disappeared in a flash, but at least I got my shot.

Sunset casts a warm red glow over Titterstone Clee and the mining remains near the summit. It looks like autumn, but I took this picture earlier this week before the snow arrived. Titterstone was worked for coal as far back as medieval times, and the landscape bears witness to its industrial legacy both past and present.

🎄It's Day 18 in our Shropshire advent calendar and here is beautiful Ludlow beneath a layer of hoar frost. This was my view from Whitcliffe Common, and to say it was bitterly cold on that day would be a huge understatement! 🎅

A moment in time - shafts of early morning sunlight fall across the walls and battlements of Ludlow Castle. I was standing on Whitcliffe Common for this shot, and the wooded slopes of Tar Grove can seen in the distance. A beautiful backdrop for what is one of the finest medieval ruins in England.

It was a busy evening at Ludlow Castle last night for the lighting of the beacon 🇬🇧🔥we are so lucky to live so close to a beautiful Castle and be able to share these experiences with family 💕

There was a lovely atmosphere, great food and drink stalls! The Ludlow Castle looks so beautiful in the evening lit up 🏰

What are your plans over the Jubilee weekend?? 🇬🇧👑💂🏻‍♀️

We have guest staying over the bank holiday Jubilee weekend in the ‘Nest’ and they defiantly won’t be short on things to do and see with the Market Square street food festival, live entertainment and the lighting of the beacon at the castle.

Ahead of the celebrations the local shops /cafes and restaurants have done a fantastic job dressing up their windows don’t you think? 👏🏻
