Final stop...Whistler
So we arrived in Whistler to a very warm welcome and some champagne sabering..thirsty work all this travelling 😉
Unfortunately there was no snow in Whistler but still plenty of activities to enjoy, hiking, mountain biking, zip line, buggies etc.
Dinner in the spectacular Fairmount Hotel. Amazing welcome and meal, the hotel is so grand but cosy too. Luxurious rooms and suites and the service was unreal we all left happy 😊
Next morning it was time for the zip line 🤢. Not for the faint hearted, but for all you thrill seekers an amazing experience.
I have truly enjoyed every minute of this trip, I have seen so much and met some amazing people. The travel industry is huge but a small world at the same time. We had such a great group and i have made some amazing new friends, i feel incredibly lucky to have been invited and owe a MASSIVE THANK YOU to our perfect hosts Newmarket Amy and Sass I am forever in your debt for this amazing opportunity xx

Vancouver was the next stop...

We stopped en route in a little town called Hope, this is where the film Rambo 1st Blood was filmed and it’s a lovely little pit stop..

We arrived into the amazing city of Vancouver a bit like New York but cheaper! Our hotel, the Sheraton Wall Centre is just WOW! Spectacular views and the comfiest beds.

We dined the Vancouvers Revolving restaurant and the views over the city were just incredible!

We took a city tour, crpssed the Capilano Suspension Bridge then headed off to Whistler!!

Hello all, Sun Peaks was not a disappointment. Such a beautiful mountain village with a small close knit community that are so proud of their town.
This ski resort was only built in 1985 but looks like something from an old Disney movie , after a walking tour of the town we learnt all about the history of Sun Peaks and the Residents.
We stayed in Nancy Greens chantilly Lodge which is owned by the Famous Olympian Nancy Greene and her pictures and medals are on display around the hotel.
Just 1 night here and on to Vancouver tomorrow....such a trip!

Good evening all. We had a fabulous day yesterday at Lake Louise we spent the morning at the stunning Fairmount Lake Louise set on the Lake with an amazing breakfast. It was snowing heavy so not great visibility over the Lake but there was something magical about the snowy landscape too. We ran into a lovely couple posing for wedding pics.
We then left earlier than planned because of the worsening weather conditions. Travelled along the ice fields parkway but the conditions were so bad there wasn't much to see unfortunately. Big respect for our driver Brian getting us there in 1 piece.
We spent one night in Jasper and met some local wildlife this morning dandering through the main street.
Jasper is open again and ready for tourists and there are pops of green appearing in the forrests again amongst the burnt out trees which is good to see.
Leaving today for Sun Peaks hopefully the weather will be kind 🤞
