The Government should make disregard for the safety of drivers displaying an L-plate an aggravating factor in dangerous driving and careless driving offences. This would allow courts to impose stronger sentences on drivers who do not take sufficient precautions when driving near learner drivers.

Spain: Cantabria and The Ebro Valley

We have four places to fill for our exciting adventure to the north of Spain in September. This adventure runs from the 11th to the 18th of September.
We are using some beautiful hotels chosen for their location. Each has its own character and the food and wine are superb.
The first hotel Posada La Solana is in the historical town of Santillana del Mar which is a stone's throw away from the caves of Altamira which has some of the most magnificent rock paintings in Europe.
The second, Posada la Colodra sits high in the mountains of Saya Besaya. It is perfectly situated to explore the tracks that crisis cross this beautiful landscape.
The third is in the village of Castrillo del Val which is the gateway to the Sierra De Dementa and the fourth is an old monastery in the village of Dan Milan de la Cogolla. The tracks between the two are high and steep, lots to enjoy.

The cost is £1,994 (2 people per car) which includes 7 nights full board. Lunches and getting there are not included.

The final day of our Spanish reccie. Sad to be heading home. We’ve found some amazing places to visit and tracks to drive. The final itinerary for the trip in September 2022 will be out shortly, and we can’t wait to come back.
