Parkinson’s can make using your hands for small movements tricky.

There are 27 bones in each hand and wrist that work together so your hand can move – that’s a lot of coordinated muscle and joint activity. Like many parts of the body, we take them for granted until they start to work less efficiently.

Stiffness (rigidity), slowness of movement (bradykinesia) or shaking from a tremor in Parkinson’s can all make hand and wrist movements more difficult.

It is often assumed that the service is only for the older generation or wheelchair users. False news! OUR SERVICE IS FOR EVERYONE!

We support loads of children, young people and their families every day with school runs and transport to and from day centres, but on occasion, we are privileged to be asked to accompany children on school trips and to once-in-a-lifetime experiences that they otherwise wouldn't be able to attend. AND WE LOVE IT!

All of our companion drivers have enhanced DBS certificates, safeguarding children training, and, most importantly, they know how to have fun. 🥳

The woods are magical all year round but autumn is particularly special. An array of fungi on the forest floor and the ever changing colours overhead are simply beautiful.

We're open everyday throughout October from 10am-5pm (last entry 4pm) with tickets available online or on arrival.
