Out again today, forecast not very accurate and conditions rather rolly but we had fantastic fishing.
Started on the bream and to say hectic would of been an understatement , we had well over 70 up too 2.5lbs in the first couple of hours, a nice grey gurnard and a couple of congers.
When the tide went round we had a quick look for a whiting but only found dogs so anchour back up and we went drifting a reef , lots of po***ck to around 6lb , several nice sized bass, squid to 1.5lbs and Mark had a beutiful John dory.
Cracking day especially for November in tricky conditions.

Cracking day today with the tangle twins.
Plan A was a quick look for some better bream and then on to some whiting, well we found some great bream and stayed on them until we lost the tide, lots of fish up to about 2.5lb , great for November!! We also had a conger, tub gurnard and some lovely live bait size scad.
As you can imagine with such good live bait the whiting fishing went out the window as we went and converted the scad to some cracking Bass!
And a squid thst came up on my bits rig.

We popped out for a 4 hour fishing trip over high water this morning, dreaded easterly wind against tide pushing us all over the place.
Great company but the fishing was rather steady with too many small bream shredding the baits at the first stop. After catching a couple of squid at anchour we had a a small move and targeted them on the drift catching a few nice ones, most coming to some nice jigs stu bought back from Japan.
We also had had bream, dogs , congers and scad.
We are running 3-8 hour fishing and squid fishing trips weather permitting right through the autumn and winter.
Beginners or experienced welcome, gear can be supplied and frozen bait included.

A solitary dolphin has made Lyme its home, being spotted a number of times in the past couple of weeks swimming around the buoy off of Lyme Regis beach. Today, while on board Jurassic Boat Trips's Susie B we were fortunate enough to get a few glimpses of it.

We have been making the most of this lovely weather over half term.
Plenty of bream,po***ck big congers and other bits on the deep sea trips.
Mackerel are a bit scarce so we have been drifting an inshore wreck on the 1hour trips with most people catching a fish or 2.
And on about 90% of the trips we have been seeing a friendly dolphin who has taken up residence.
I even had a couple of hours off this morning to take some friends squid fishing, we all caught plenty for dinner.
A few places left tomorrow on sightseeing and 1 hour fishing trips, and deep sea fishing Saturday.
And we will be running fishing trips right through the winter weather permitting.

Beutiful day to be out on the water!
Unfortunately the water was a bit to coloured for our squid trip today, but we managed to winkle out a few , Connor was top rod with 5 and the biggest.
We also has bream, scad, pout and mackerel.
Finished with 2 sightseeing trips and saw dolphin both trips!

New Junior Boat Record

Dempsey Heppenstall fishing on Suzie B (Jurassic Boat Trips) broke the LRSAC Junior Boat Record with a Conger Eel of 43lbs.

A few trips this week.
Wednesday out on a 4 hour trip with regular guys, a nice huss, eels pout, scad and first good whiting of the year.
Friday was a 4 hour squid trip , appalling conditions but we winkled out a few.
Today was a jolly for dempsey and his pals.
It was a day of dolphins everywhere and plenty of fish.
Started with dolphin watching just outside the harbour , then as we were on our way to a wreck we saw several more and spent a good 30 mins watching them play.
Plan today was congers and congers!
We had a solid day of non stop catching plenty to just over 40lbs, also a few pout and bream and dempsey had a nice po***ck.

A few spaces for 4-8 hour fishing and squid trips and we will be running 1 hour sightseeing and mackerel trips and 3 hour deep sea trips duringʻ the halfterm.

We made the most of the nice day of the week.
Started off looking for a skate and gurnard on the mornings 3 hour trip, had small eyed, blonde and spotty rays.
Grey and red gurnard and some bream, scad, mackerel , dogs and congers, brilliant short session, dropped those guys off and picked up the next bunch for a 6 hour trip.
Went back to same spot , 1 more blonde and frank had a massive 2lb 1oz red gurnard and some bits n Bobs , fishing was a bit slow for my liking so we went east a few miles looking for an eel and a bream
Well I'm exhausted from t bar use!
Dozens and dozens of congers to over 35lb , Niel had a beuty double figure huss, several nice bream, scad, a couple of dogs and not a pout to be seen.
I didn't use the jigs buy we had a very large squid come unbuttoned just out of reach .
Fantastic weather , excellent fishing and brilliant company!

Its that time of year again and with the amount of squid and cuttlefish we have seen recently we have decided to put on a 4 hour squid trip on 11th October departing lyme regis at 10am .

Today was a jolly for the young apprentice and his pals , and what a great day we had.
Due to the forecast we didn't leave until almost 11am and we stayed dry for most of the day.
Fishing was pretty good too.
Started with a quick couple of drifts to get some nice fresh bait , then anchor down and look out fish !
We had a steady stream of nice bream all day with biggest going 2lb 10oz , several congers to 25lb, 3 huss to 8/9lb and the usual suspects, after a live bait came up squidded, we had a quick go on the jigs and had a couple of squid for my tea!
Perfect day and main reason I keep doing my job.

I Have spaces this Tuesday on a 4 hour fishing trip and a 1 hour sightseeing trip before weather shuts us down again.
We will also be looking at putting on a few squid trips if enough interest

The last couple of days we had the pleasure of taking out the guys who got me into to the fishing lark.
Yesterday we went out to a wreck, a couple of nice po***ck on the drift then put the anchour down, a few nice bream and a ridiculous amount of congers. In 2/3 hours the 4 of us had non stop action, well over 50 all between 20 and 50lb.
After the guys had had there fill we popped back inshore and got on the bream, dozens of fish to 3lb and Pete had a cracking mackerel of 1lb 14oz.
This morning back out on the bream, lots of fish to about 3lb, mackerel ,dogs conger and a thorney ray.
Cracking couple of days fishing in unbeatable company.

We fished the lyme regis angling club open bream competition on Sunday along with 32 anglers fishing from 8 boats.
Hopes were high on susie b , due to a week of fantastic bream fishing with several specimens over 3.5lb .
Unfortunately it wasn't to be on the day , we caught over 200 bream between the 4 of us with fish to 2lb 11oz but I think we simply had too many fish under us for the bigger ones to get through the shoal of 2lber's. The young apprentice won the junior prize and 12th overall , I managed 5th, Stuart 7th and Bob 9th so not the worst result and a great day had by all .
