Love this time of year when this Viburnum and other flowering shrubs are in all their majesty.

The Cabin is fully booked for spring. However dates have become available for the 27th June - 1st July. The only time between now and Autumn.

So treat yourself to a mid-week break, you won't regret it.

Its very quiet here today at the beginning of lockdown 2.0, I hope you’re all staying safe and well.

What do you think about the Government's plan to ease restrictions on UK holidays by the 4th July? It seems quite ambitious but we will be ready to host guests at The Cabin just as long as it is completely safe to do so.

Is it now possible to go on holiday, either in the UK or abroad?

Immaculate cozy wooden house, impeccably decorated to the smallest detail in a very quiet spot within forest lands. Perfect for both forest walks and fossil hunting at the surrounding Dorset beaches. Very near to all local amenities and attractions but at the same time away from the crowds. Ideal for families. We loved our stay and the warm hospitality of Steve. Bring your walking boots! There are numerous trails within easy access the most notable being the South West Coastal Path and the Liberty Trail. Plus many smaller footpaths criss crossing the Axe and Marshwood Valleys leading to exploration of iron age forts such as Pilsden Pen, Lewesden Hill and Lamberts Castle. Or walk the Coastal Path to Golden Cap, the highest point on the south coast with magnificent views of Lyme Bay.

The Cabin has two double bedrooms which can comfortably sleep four people. The downstairs bedroom can be made up for two single beds or a Kingsize double and the mezzanine floor has another Kingsize bed.
